M.S: Hola, gracias por contestar a nuestras preguntas. ¿Cómo estás?
Bien, gracias, y también emocionados por tocar en el MFVF de nuevo
M.S: En el 2008 estuvistéis en España con Korpiklaani, que recuerdos tenéis de los conciertos?
Después de tocar por Europa algún tiempo, los locales nos empezaron a parecer todos iguales. Por eso recuerdo mejor las ciudades. En Madrid tuvimos un día libre y fuimos al centro, el autobús aparcó en un parking debajo de una plaza con edificios administrativos y cafés. Dimos un paseo y tomamos café. Y otro día el autobús aparcó junto a la playa en Alicante y nos sentamos en un banco de piedra mirando al mar. Y tomamos café de nuevo. Los conciertos fueron geniales, y la gente nos hizo sentir muy cómodos.
M.S: Si alguien quisiera recopilar información vuestra, ¿dónde podrían escucharos o comprar vuestros discos?
En Internet. La página de Facebook del grupo es quizá la que más actualizamos. Nuestras canciones están disponibles para poder escucharlas en Myspace. Nuestros discos se pueden comprar por Europa. O debería poderse; sino los encontráis, hacédnoslo saber. Y por supuesto venid a vernos en concierto
M.S: ¿Cómo se puso en contacto con vosotros la organización de MFVF? ¿Les enviasteis primero vuestro material?, u ¿os llamaron? Estoy seguro de que estáis más que orgullosos por participar en este festival que se celebra cada año, ¿verdad?
Hace dos años nuestra agencia de aquel momento estaba en contacto con los organizadores del MFVF, y así fue como conseguimos tocar por primera vez en el festival. Obviamente, les gustó mucho nuestro show, y han querido que volvamos 🙂 Esta vez también se ha acordado con nuestra agencia actual
M.S: Hoy en día, ¿diríais que tener mujeres en un grupo de metal os deja en un segundo puesto respecto al resto de grupos de la escena del metal? Quiero decir, en el resto de los festivales de metal nos podemos encontrar sólo 2 ó 3 mujeres al frente de grupos. ¿Consideráis que MFVF es una buena forma, para grupos como el vuestro, de tener la oportunidad de tocar en grandes escenarios?
No, no lo diria. Nuestro material es bastante más bruto si lo comparamos con muchos otros grupos con cantante femenina. Nos sorprendió mucho cuando nos recibieron en el MFVF de la manera tan buena que lo hicieron hace dos años. Temíamos que nos consideraran fuera de lugar. Creo que tenemos más en común con géneros de fantasía, incluso el folk-metal, que con el típico metal con cantante femenina. Lo que hace el MFVF es juntar en un mismo sitio público con gustos similares por este tipo de música con voces de féminas.
M.S: MFVF se caracteriza principalmente por contratar grupos de diferentes países para que vayan a tocar a Bélgica, ¿cómo es la escena del metal en vuestro país? ¿Recomendáis algunas bandas a nuestros lectores?
La escena del metal en Finlandia está en ebullición ahora mismo. Para los amantes del metal con cantante femenina les recomendaría el grupo Dotma, en el que mi amiga y compañera de colegio Johanna canta. También escuchar a Korpikuusen Kyynel merece mucho la pena.
M.S: Estaréis en la novena edición de MFVF, ¿qué grupos os gustaría ver?
Leaves’ Eyes y Therion, Lo malo es que no podré ver a Therion porque no estaremos el día 23, maldición
M.S: Con respecto a vuestra actuación, ¿qué se va a encontrar el público en el escenario?
Rabia y belleza, espero
M.S: Supongo que vais a tocar canciones de vuestro último disco “Betrayal, Justice, Revenge”, ¿qué nos podéis contar de él?
“Betrayal” es nuestro segundo disco, y salió en 2010. Hemos tenido muy buenas críticas por parte de los medios. El trabajo de las letras es mayormente mío, a diferencia de trabajos anteriores. Cada canción es única, momentos fugaces y pequeñas historias sobre personas y sus destinos en el mundo. No hay una línea argumental común que conecte los temas, pero la idea se sobreentiende que está ahí: quizá todo esto está conectado de alguna manera. 
M.S: ¿Qué le diríais a la gente que va a asistir al festival?
Que se lo pasen bien, que se cuiden a sí mismos y los unos a los otros. Y nunca jamás mezclar el vodka con el chile, y dárselo de comer a un dragón: los resultados son explosivos y peligrosos. ¡Nos vemos allí!
M.S: Después del festival, ¿Cuáles son vuestros proyectos más inmediatos?
El disco número tres que está en camino

M.S: Hi, thank you for answering our questions. How are you?
Fine, thank you, and excited to get to perform at MFVF again.
M.S: You were in 2008 on tour with Korpiklaani in Spain, can you tell us what do you remember about those concerts?
After you’ve been performing around Europe some time, venues themselves all start to look pretty much alike. This is why I remember the cities better. In Madrid we had a day off downtown and the bus was parked underground, below a town square with administrative buildings and cafés. We went for a walk and had some coffee. And one day the bus was parked beside a shore in Alicante and we sat on a stone fence watching the sea. And went for a coffee again. The concerts were great and the people made us feel very welcome.
M.S: If someone wants to gather info about you, where could they listen to you or buy your albums?
In the Internet. The band’s Facebook is the best maintained of our sites. Our songs are available for listening at our Myspace. Our albums are available in stores around Europe. Or should be; if you can’t find them, let us know. And, come see our concert, of course
M.S: How did the MFVF organization get in touch with you? Did you send them first your material? Or did they call you? I’m sure you’ll be more than proud participating in this festival which is held every year, right?
Two years back our booking agency of that time was in contact with MFVF organizers and that was how we got our first show at the festival. Obviously they liked us so much that they wanted to have us there again. 🙂 This time as well it was all settled through our current booking agency.
M.S: Nowadays, would you say that having women in a metal band leaves you in a second place concerning the rest of the bands in the metal scene? I mean, in the rest of the metal festivals you can find only 2 or 3 women fronted bands. Do you consider MFVF as a good way for bands like yours to have the chance to play in big venues?
No, I wouldn’t. Our material is quite brutal compared to most female fronted bands. We were pretty surprised when we were received at MFVF as well as we were two years back. I feared we might be considered to be out of the context. I think we have more in common with such genres as fantasy- and even folk metal than your basic female fronted band. What MFVF does, is pull together in one place an audience with similar tastes for female fronted music.
M.S: MFVF is characterized mainly in hiring bands from so many different countries to come and play in Belgium, how’s the metal scene in your country? Would you recommend any bands for our readers?
Metal scene in Finland is very vibrant indeed. For fans of female fronted metal I’d like to recommend the band Dotma, in which my friend and schoolmate Johanna sings. Also Korpikuusen Kyynel is definitely worth checking out.
M.S: You’ll be at the eight edition of MFVF, which bands would you like to see?
Leaves’ Eyes and Therion. Except that I won’t see Therion since we are not staying for 23.day.. damn.
M.S: Concerning your show, what can the audience find on stage?
Rage and beauty, I hope.
M.S: I guess you are playing tracks from your last album “Betrayal, Justice, Revenge”, what could you tell us about it?
"Betrayal" is our second album, released in 2010. It got fairly good reviews all around the medias. Lyric work is mostly mine, unlike other material before. The songs are each their own, fleeting moments and little stories about people and their fates in their world. There is no straightforward storyline that would entwine the songs together but the idea is supposed to be there, in the background: perhaps this is all somehow connected.
M.S: What would you say people to attend the festival?
Have fun and take care of yourselves and one another. And never ever mix vodka and chilli together and feed this to a dragon: results are explosive and messy. See you all there!
M.S: After the festival, which are your more immediate projects?
Number Three album which is on the way.
